From looking at the sites that show rooms available, it looks lik there are still quite a few rooms available, but it's really hard to tell. I can't imagine a ship that isn't full, especially Disney. In the parks, anyway, I've never seen a "slow time". Oh, well, I guess we'll find out in 56 days or so!
We have 8 rooms at the Hyatt for Saturday night, as we are meeting with a group of future in-laws for a sort of rehearsal dinner. Our group as it stands right now has 20, with a possible 5 still looking at going. And to think I was truly worried that if we didn't have everyone booked a year ago, they wouldn't get a room!! :p
I don't know about the rest of you, but, wedding or no wedding, I'm sooo excited to get back on the ship I just can't stand it!!!

Remember, everyone is invited to come see the wedding at 10:00 a.m. at the Heads Up Bar!!

Same here. We are flying out of Midway in Chicago and are set to arrive at 10:20 on Sunday in Orlando and fly home on Thurs. Our son has a football game in Joliet on Sat at both ends:eek: so a 4 day is the perfect lenght for us.

I know it says Anniversary Cruise below but it is actually on Sept. 26 17yrs. When is yours Huckster?

Steve

june 11 we had to cancel our first cruise family emergency thats why were going in sep

There will be four of us joining you!!! For My hubby and I it will be our first ever cruise, and the first Disney cruise for my Grandma/aunt!!!
We can't wait!!:D

Sure doens't look like a whole lot are going, oh well, more on the ship for us!

ANy kids coming? Anybody staying at the Radisson?

Personally, I'm excited, I put down the final payment, and am starting to pack for the trip. Gee, but before that, it's shop for back to school, my DD 8yo birthday, my dad's 77th birthday party that we're holding, a short ocean trip to whet our appetite....gosh did I miss anything?

AHHHHH!!!!

Right there with ya on all of that, Newby!
We're doing a bachelorette party in Las Vegas this week, 24-28th, a shower for 35 people on the 31st, future in-laws arriving to meet us on the 29th, still making wedding flowers & decorations, didn't even remember school was starting on Aug 13th until I saw the supplies start popping up in the stores, completed 6 months worth of corporate taxes for the accountant to start to go over, planning a trip to Bonaire in November...and I had major surgery 2 weeks ago! Am I a glutton for punishment, or WHAT!!?? LOL 'cuz it's either that, or cry.
Every second of it will be worth it when I get back on that ship.
We have (besides the 21 yr old bride) a DD13, and DS10. Staying at the Hyatt night before. See you all soon!

 Just look for the woman who is rapidly losing her mind!

justmestace - too bad your group isn't staying at the Radisson. We could have a big celebration - bachlor/bachlorette party, 50th birthday party (for my older sister), we could even celebrate marshmelo getting an upgrade. Or we could just celebrate that
WE ARE GOING ON A Cruise:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Are we sure we are all on the same cruise every countdown is different! We fly down on Sun AM so we will miss the Radisson party . Hope you all have a good time.

Steve

Steve - my countdown timer is set for noon on Sept 14th. When we went in February they started letting us on shortly after 12:00 PM - so I'm just hoping that we get to board around that time again. DD9 has her countdown timer in the form of a paper chain that she made - and she removes a link each night before bed.

Unfortunately justmestace and her big group won't be at the Radisson either. So far I only know of newbycruiser, ps21061 and my group staying there. Anyone else?

Gail

I noticed our countdown timers were all different, too. I was trying to figure out the time difference when I did mine, and I guess I don't count well. All I know is that I WILL be on the Wonder on Sept 14!! :)
We could've had a terrific party!! Our future son-in-law turns 24 on the 14 of Sept, his dad has a b-day onboard, and also my mom and the maid of honor. DH and I are celebrating our wedding anniversary onboard, too!
Last cruise our table mates had 2 DD's, both celebrating b-days, and our DS and DD were both celebrating b-days. We became fast friends over lots of birthday cakes!

my countdown clock was set originally for the 7 day cruise that left on Saturday, but now we're on the 4 day cruise....but we're leaving on Saturday to make sure we're there for Sunday, so I didn't change it!

Well it would be crowded if we all arrived at once. See you all in Sept.

Steve

I talked to our DCL Group Reservation specialist today....she seemed surprised when I told her that there was a DIS board where we check-in to see how many are on a cruise. Guess they must have a lot less time on their hands than I do! Anyway, she did say that the Sept 14 cruise (and others very close) are usually not very crowded, as school has just started in most areas and parents are reluctant to take kids out so soon after starting. We just might have room to stretch!!
And to Fireplug (Steve).....you are a pretty funny guy...I just might track you down by the aroma of your cigar!! (I've been reading with amusement the "smoking" thread).
See Ya!!!
Stacey

We will also be there, 1st time cruisers, we will be celebrating our 11th anniversary and it will be our first vacation as a family. Our DS, he just turned two.

We will be seeing you :Pinkbounc

BY THE WAY, HOW DO I DOWNLOAD THE COUNTDOWN CLOCK UNTO MY PROFILE

ffeliciano - go to the Technical Support board. They have a Thread "Get your countdown timers here" Just follow their instructions - it's very easy to do.

Gail

This is my first post to this board (or any board, for that matter), but have to chime in. My husband, 4 yr-old daughter, father-in-law and mother-in-law will be there. Last year was a tough year, so we thought we'd reward ourselves with a vacation - and we decided on a Disney Cruise! When I booked it in January, I thought it would never come...and it's less than 2 months away! In fact, it's coming a little too quickly (will I have everything ready in time?).

I chose these dates because of the lower rates, so I thought somewhat naively that it would be crowded on the boat. If not, that'll be just fine.

I went on a Carnival Cruise 10 years ago, but none since then. I've been visiting all the boards, other websites (mousesavers, barb's page, dave's dcl, etc.), purchased my Passporter and read as much as I could. I can't believe how much info is out there...very helpful.

Looking forward to it!
