Wonder review having sailed all others

We were on the Wonder a few weeks back. We did get the bandanas for pirate night. I love the less amount of people on the Wonder/Magic and I agree about Tianas. It was by far our favorite restaurant. We always do the shows even after 27 cruises. Loved the new Golden Mickeys, same theme but added a few new parts. Always loved Dreams and yes I get teary eyed as well and liked the new Frozen. Started out slow but definitely got better. All the pirate nights unfortunately kind of blend in together but sometimes we have just Jack Sparrow saving the ship, sometimes Mickey and a few times we have had both. An early show for kids and then later for adults.

Thanks for the review. I'll be getting my Grand Slam in February with a 7-night Wonder cruise.

Looking at the menus and seeing that Triton's menu is pretty much identical in content to Lumiere's, I called last night and changed my request for Night 1 from Animator's (which I thought would be a great way to kick off the cruise - we had that on the Magic this year and it was awesome) to Triton's - with the intention of going to Palo that night to avoid that menu. The only thing I like on there (talking the main menu and not the lighter fare) is the creme brûlée.

And even though I am not really a fan of live music while I'm eating (seriously...how are you supposed to eat when you have to applaud every couple of minutes???), I'd rather deal with that than the Triton's menu, and I didn't want to miss it. (If it's really not my thing I'll do something else the other nights I'm scheduled in there.)

Thanks for the update! It makes me SO torn about whether we should keep our reservation for our southern caribbean on the wonder next Jan. or change to our good ol' Fantasy?! DH and I were just talking about how we don't know if our kids will be entertained enough if they don't go to the tween clubs since there won't be mini-golf (DH's favorite), mid-ship detective, and aquaduck. But hearing that the waterslide is available may help--when I was reading, I thought it was was a restricted height maximum and that would just stink to have to replacement for the aquaduck (at least the Magic has the aquadunk). But I am dying for some new shows and Tiana's looks awesome!! Plus, we are booked into one of rooms that will be changed into a new concierge room (so we will have all new furnishings, just not the benefits of being concierge) :yo-yo: So hard to decide!
