Wonder. Nassau / CC Sep 30

To early to tell about Castaway Cay, maybe after some more reports come in. Yes, for Nasseau (I'm assuming, since the 9/9 cruise is going there). I'm wondering if they will replace CC as well with Cozumel since I'm on the 4 day on September 12. At this point, I'm just happy to be going on the ship, especially since it looks like we are still stopping in Nasseau. Like everyone, I will be dissapointed if we are not stopping in CC, because it is beautiful and a wonderful experience, but at least we'll be cruising.

I'm on that same cruise (wonder - sept 30).

I'm pretty bummed about CC too since that's our favorite part of the trip. I don't think Cozamel is a possibility for us though because our cruise is only 3 days.

Since it sounds like we'll get to Nassau, my plan "B" is to book a shore tour with a "beach" day. I'll have up until two days before the cruise to cancel in case by some utter miracle we'd get to go to CC.

It not CC but at least a chance to lay on the beach for a day.

I am so disappointed. Nassau is "ugly" and apart from shopping there is no point to stop there (for us - the passengers); the only reasing for booking this cruise was because of CC. This the second time I get the "hurricane" thing while on a cruise. first time with RCC. Do they offer "free drinks" or else to compensate ? I spent so much money on this cruise ..

If you are calling at Nassau than you won't call at Cozumel. On a 4-day cruise, the ship would need a day at sea on each end of the Cozumel call. It's about 800 miles from Port Canaveral to Cozumel, so the ship would need about 30 hours to get there (based on 23 knots). If it left Port Canaveral at 5:00pm on Sunday, Monday would be a sea day, Tuesday would be in port, Wednesday another sea day to get back.

I don't think that Disney will be giving free drinks for missing CC. If you read you documents it states that they can change and or miss ports at any time and they're not responsible. All of the cruise lines are busy missing port after port lately and things are changing daily. CC gets missed sometimes throughout the year as there are times when it's either too rough or too windy to get the boat into the dock. I know you're disappointed, but look at it as an adventure and enjoy the Wonder for how wonderful it is!

thank-you guys .. Does anyone know if suites have a private lounge, like on Voyager - Explorer of the Seas from RCC with free drinks / appetizers kind of things, and if they have different dining options, private embarking / disembarking ?

Yes, the suites do have a lounge with food. I'm not sure if free drinks are included, someone who's done the suite will have to fill you in. What suite do you have booked? Didn't your TA go over all the perks you get?
