Wonder May 17, 2015 3 Night Mexican Riviera

That's a great idea about having a 10 cabin minimum for the FE groups. We are still a ways out, so I won't set it for sure yet because if we only get 15 cabins participate those 5 will be short 5. I hope that makes sense, once we have at least 20 cabins I will make it 2 groups of 10cabins. I hope you all are okay with this. Let me know what you think. dde0a
That sounds like a great idea!!

I think FE groups of 10 is fine but would like the option of being able to sign up for more than 1 group, since I already have more cabin gifts made than 10 :) .We did about 40 cabins on our Fantasy cruise earlier this month and it went well. I like making stuff and have several plans to keep me busy this winter. We are probably going to bring our son Daniel (25) with us as a graduation present. I will know by the end of this week. As for what we plan on doing on this cruise, Still up in the air. I would love to see a list of shore excursions. We are looking at winery tours. If there was a 5K like on CC we would do that. We will probably catch a couple tastings. We did a wine tasting and hubby did a whiskey tasting on our last cruise as well as a private (FB group) mixology class. They were all fun.

I will add you to the second FE group LemonPie and once you find out your room number please let me know.:thumbsup2 I know I said I would wait to close the FE group, but we now have 12 cabins so the first FE group of 10 cabins is closed. If for some reason we do not get more people to join our cruise and our FE list then I will just add the 2 cabins to the first group, but I thinking more people will sign up.:cool1:

I will be emailing the list to the 1st FE group members soon, but I'm missing some info. SYLVIAJESS do you know your cabin number? If so can you please PM it to me. Thanks. Traveln4fun do you know your cabin number? If so can you please PM it to me, also can you PM me your email address so I can send you the list. Thanks.

I can't wait we are getting closer! :wave2:

Ahoy me fellow landlubbers,

D. Postcard exchange

Thanks again! Can't wait to hear what everyone else votes for! :thumbsup2 :listen: popcorn::

Hi All,

I emailed the update FE list. We had a member who was no longer able to continue on with the cruise so I moved the next person up. Our second FE list is at 5 cabins and once it reaches 10 I will close that group and email the info.

Thanks.

Hi everyone! I'm joining this group it seems a little late since it's 19 pages in :). We are booked for the May 17 sailing and this will be our second Disney Cruise- first was the Mexican Riviera on the Wonder in 2005. It will be me, my DH, my DD who will be 16, and my 3 DS- 14,8,and 6. My in-laws are joining this cruise as well and it will be their first time ever on any cruise.

So excited!

I think we can keep the FE simple and manageable. Why don't I just start a spreadsheet with interested parties? I'll just need names, cabin numbers, ages, genders, and any special considerations (such as "no alcohol, peanut allergy, etc). As we get closer to sailing and have a better idea about numbers, we can reevaluate for potentially grouping. :thumbsup2
I will be cruising May 17 with my wife and 21 y/o daughter, along with two other families with slightly younger kids. On my last cruise through the Panama Canal I became aware of Fish Extenders and the activities related to them. I would LOVE to participate. Please add me to the list and provide any info as you develop the details.

No character breakfast with cruises this short. :(
Which is a total bummer, I've only ever worked a CB, never got to sit and enjoy one.
Upgrading will totally depend on how the ship sells, but I think that with so few closed loop west coast offerings, we can be ready for a pretty full house! Only time will tell, but my best guess would be that any desired upgrading would have it's best shot prior to port!
I am too new to post a PM. I would like to participate in FE. I am traveling with two other families All of us would like to participate. Please add me (Cabin 7574). When I can PM, I'll give you names and cabins of the other families. Thanks.

I would like to participate in FE. I cannot PM yet. Can you add me (Cabin 7574) and two other families (if possible). Thank you.

So today is my birthday and my amazing hubby surprised me with this 3day cruise. We will be travelling with our 6 year old daughter Madison and 3 year old son Mason (first time cruisers). I've been reading up on things to do and would LOVE to participate in a FE.
Please let me know if there is any openings.
Thank you!

Unfortunately, posts have been removed from a number of Cruise Meets threads including this one.

PLEASE review the Cruise Meet Policy regarding Cruise Meet and Fish Extender programs. - http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3353477

Links to Cruise Meet discussion/Fish Extenders other than those on the DIS may not be posted or offered by any other means (PM, email, "search" directions, etc.).

Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS as they have since FE began (also here on the DIS).

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin with child ages for age appropriate gift giving. Other information you would like to share such as names, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, if no one comes forward to organize a FE for this cruise, anyone can organize the FE right in this thread.

Enjoy!

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Hello, all! I've already notified Victoria that our family has to cancel this cruise for medical reasons. :sad2:

The thought of this has saddened me because I was truly looking forward to meeting everyone. We booked this cruise on opening day & I remember everyone's excitement about Disney Wonder being on the West Coast. I hope all of you have an AWESOME time! I'm already excited about reading your future TR's! popcorn::
