Does anyone have a 12 year old daughter cruising ... wanting to make a friend?

My daughter just asked me to post this.

I have a 13 Year Old DD... I am sure she would love to be friends!

Morning everyone Sorry I've been MIA for the past week but I was cruising on the Oasis.

It was an amazing ship, uploading some picture now, will post a few later.

We loved the ship but it just wasn't Disney, can't wait for our cruise to nowhere

It's funny how many say that. Seems to me that even with the biggest and most fantastic of the other lines ships. Many still say, "But it wasn't Disney" That's a heckuva lot to say for a cruise line.

It's just the little extra touches that Disney adds, that you don't realize what a difference it makes but when it's not there you miss it.

on excusions they just leave you on your own to find you meeting place and you have to get your own towel. Now it didn't ruin my cruise but it's just nice that Disney takes care of everything for you.

They also didn't hand you handi wipes and with 50% foreigners most people did not use the hand sanitizer themselves.

Specialty dining wasn't even close to the experience of Palo

I did love the ship and will go back on the Allure, it's just different than sailing with Disney. Although I will say I thought the food was better on the Oasis.

We sailed the Mariner this past May. My family enjoyed it but I could not stop comparing it to Disney. Since we were sailing while most kids were out of school, there weren't many kids... the vibe I got from alot of adults was that my kids were intruding on their vacation

I bought a cruise for my Mom to Alaska last year. Couldn't wait to hear how it went when she returned. During the whole story, I kept thinking... "That's not how it is with Disney." I almost felt like apologizing!

Okay wristband peeps - I have tried to find a place that is similar to ReminderBand that will do the Disney font and logo but I'm coming up against copyright limitations and/or pricing issues, and I'm running out of time. Would it be horrible to stick with a more generic font? I know it's not ideal but I have ordered from them before so I'm confident in the work they do, plus their sizing is different than some others and I don't want to re-take everyone's size orders. I'll finalize the order with ReminderBand this week and get that info via PM to everyone.

Thanks, I would love to go on the Allure in 2012 but DH wants to go on the Fantasy. We'll see how we like the Dream before you decide.

lol..... I know how that can be! Get two 12 year olds together and everything is "embarrassing"

Her name is Lacey. I was wondering the same thing about the clubs.
