Glad I'm not the only one without guilt, my son would enjoy himself and do kids club my daughter is too clingy and it's all about her, I wouldn't have a moments peace... That's our excuse...

We're leaving our kids behind:cool1::cool1::cool1: Being a family of 5 it gets more difficult with either 2 rooms or a Cat. 4. We are also going on the 10 day MR in April with our kids, so that is their trip. We would not be taking this trip if it was all 5 of us. I am planning on a nice relaxing cruise.

We will be at the Mickey pool for the meetup. I will see if I can find a picture of my husband and I.

Where did you guys swim with the dolphins? I am looking at doing it with my 8 year old in Cabo in April.

That was in Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Dolphins. We did the excursion through the ship (Royal Caribbean Mariner of the Seas). Loved the experience. Pricey for sure but we figured it was one of those once in a lifetime things. We were prepared to pay for the photos too, so it wasn't a shock (got a disc of 15 images for like $120).

I have totally lost following this thread.... read about 5 pages when we first booked then it blossomed to 188! AHHHH. Wondering if I can get a copy of the wonderful Cruise to nowhere logo. Love the sig. size but would like a regular version too if possible.

Thanks! Can't wait to see everyone---that will mean I am on the ship!!!!

We'd love to meet you at 3 as well! I'll try to post a picture...

ONE WEEK! YIPEEE. Anyone know how the weather will be? It was 82 here in San Diego today! :cool1:

How many people are leaving their kids behind? :cool1::cool1:
We are and my daughter keeps asking, "where are you going?" "how come we can't come?" oh boy, if she only knew we would never hear the end of it... :furious::furious:
Looking forward to being kidless and some R&R :cloud9::cloud9:
I keep forgetting it is this next weekend. I guess with no flights to take it feels different. :car:
See Y'all soon... :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

I'm leaving my kids AND my husband behind! This will be the first Mother/daughter trip I've taken with my mom. And I'm not feeling guilty since I'm going to try rebooking a cruise for all of us.

By the way, I'm looking forward to putting faces with the names. This board has been incredibly helpful answering all my dumb questions! I'm sure I'll probably have that deer stuck in the headlights look the entire time we're on the cruise!

(Let's see if this pic works) This isn't a very recent pic, nor is it the best pic, but that's me.

Also, we're staying in San Pedro and won't have a car, but I think the Doubletree has free shuttle service within 5 miles, so if anyone wants to organize a meetup, we can try and be there.

Tonight, we kick off "Disney Cruise Week" by heading to Disneyland and dinner at Club 33. (Sure, its only a two day cruise, but we can still have a cruise week?)

Until yesterday I had never pieced together that with Monday being a holiday, its only a 3 day work week. Woo Hoo!

See you at 3 PM at the Goofy pool.

Woke up this morning from a dream about having breakfast at Tritons....NEXT Saturday it will be a reality!

.

Is anyone else feeling this warm weather is a little bittersweet? Oh if it will just last!
I'm not worried though....our last cruise was during Florida's record low temps and my kids still enjoyed the pools. Can't wait!:cool1:

Nice! 82!!!! We could only hope. The Weather Channel predicting 65-72 degree temps in San Diego that weekend. (I think they're expecting a cold front to come it. I've been watching San Diego but I'm guessing the loop that the Wonder will take will go about that far.

I like the Disney Cruise Week! Club 33 huh! :worship: That's pretty sweet. Someday, I'd like to go. But I got to find a club member friend first :rotfl2:
I have some Paramedic friends that were invited once but the the club member had a death in the family and had to cancel.

I figure that they'll be no keeping our kids out of the pools. (I remember when growing up, we had a pool and we we're out swimming in all but the coldest weather.)

I'm not familiar with the port location (though I will be by January 2011!) but I can almost assure it will take half the time....Universal is a tricky destination because there really is no way to avoid the downtown LA/Hollywood traffic. From Anaheim to the port, I think you would take the 22 east/north to the 405 north. shouldn't take more than an hour, especially if you wait until 10 or so, after the morning rush. Let's hope for early boarding!

Hey, Just checking with y'all. Is this still the best way from Anaheim to the Port? I'm starting to plan things out.

Jackie....Just remembered that we are having brunch at Palo.:thumbsup2 Soooooo, maybe you should join us in there!

Just you and Venetia ? Or do I get to join you guys?

Well, in the dream, you were too hung over! :lmao::lmao::lmao:
At least that's what Peggy suggested when I told her the story! (....always blame little sister when you can)

Discuss that with your bride and if you are serious we can mention it to the girls (and make sure Palo appropriate clothing is packed). We didn't book one originally 'cause we just kind of wanted to 'wing it'. But magnifying the birthday festivites with our good pals and fellow birthday girl certainly would be fun! And provided arrangements for expanded party size can be accommodated, of course. Details can be arranged on facebook.
