Hello Hello everyone! We just booked. 4 of us DS (3) myself (32) GM (50+ but -60) and GP (56). We would love to participate in the FE if anyone else is interested? We just came off the fantasy last week and looking forward to another cruise!

I have added your thread to the cruise meet list :beach:
Have a great cruise!

Great! I was worried for a little while that we were the only ones going! What room are you guys in? I can start a list. I cant believe in a a couple of months we will be cruising! We just came off our first cruise back in November. Loved it so much that we booked again in Feb and Sept of next year. Welcome!

We are in 6104. My MIL & FIL will be in the adjoining room 6106. My SIL, BIL, and 2 nieces will be in room 6081. They would love to do FE also.

Rm: 6104
myself Heather (34)
DH Neil (34)
DD Ella (6)
DD Ainsley (3)

Rm: 6081
SIL Maggie (36)
BIL Erik (35)
DD Helen (8)
DD Kate (5)

I was a little disappointed too when I didn't see a long thread. Maybe that will mean short lines for the kiddos!

We will be traveling from NC and would love any advice you could offer.

Pack half of the clothes you plan to bring and more swimsuits than you need is the best advice i received from the cruisers last time. I hope that we have wonderful beach weather when we cruise. I have no idea what to expect for beach weather in Feb. Castaway Key is absolutely amazing. Lose some lbs if you can before you go- the food is amazing! I put on 10lbs from a 1 week cruise early Nov and am still trying to take it off haha! If you need nursery time book online in advance. The slots do not fill up while the option to book online. They schedule their staff around the online bookings and sometimes its harder to shift times/bookings when on board. If you do get the option to shift nursery times while onboard you will pay for those hours if you do not show up or use. If you dont show up for your online bookings you shouldnt see charges. Hmmm.... What else. Get onboard as early as possible.. You paid for the ship so enjoy the most out of it. Getting onboard around 11-11:30 is one of the best times to looks around and check everything out. Skip the buffet topside when u board and eat at one of the restaurants downstairs (its nicer less crowded and a great way to start the cruise) many folks dont know about this. the restaurant that was open on the fantasy was the enchanted garden. im not sure if its the same on the wonder. Staying onboard while in port is sometimes a good option vice going to a port for 4 hours. There is always something to do onboard even while in port... Even if its lounging poolside or playing bingo for a diamond, or 5-10k jackpot. Book your next cruise on the first day. The onboard booking option provided the best discount (10%off online prices) and an onboard $ credit. Trust me. You will more than likely book another cruise :)

Giving our kids this cruise as their Christmas present (6, 4 and 1) and this will be our first Disney cruise! We have been going on RCCL annually since 2004 but thought we would try Disney with the kids. My mom is going also and we have 2 rooms outside on the 5th floor.

Staying a night on South Beach a night before the cruise then driving to Key West for a few days afterwards to see my dad - pretty pumped!

We are doing the same thing. "Santa" is bringing the cruise. It will be my girls first cruise and first time flying. I am having trouble containing my excitement. I am counting down the days til Christmas just so I can see their faces!!

How are you going to give it to them? We bought a few Disney Cruise items but also bought a replica of the ship and we are going to have them open that together in a bag.

I am planning to make large "tickets" with pictures of the ship and some of the Disney characters for them to open in a large homemade envelope. My kids love anything on a large scale. I also plan to do the countdown chain you can find on Pinterest and have it hanging around the house. We are purchasing some other Disney themed items including a Fish Extender we are having made from a shop on Etsy.

Great! Welcome everyone! Im thinking ill start a list of names, room number, ages, where your from, favorite characters for all those that are interested in the FE! Glad to see more activity here on the forum! If everyone can start adding infor to the board that would be great. What an awesome chrsitmas gift idea!!!

That is a good idea about the chain, we need to do that. Also, there is an app you can put on your phone or Ipad with a countdown also.

We also got our kids the mickey and minnie fleeces with their names on it to open, the lanyard wallet and pirate pajama's for the pirate party.

2 months and 2 days!

We'll be on this cruise also!
