I know! I can book my cabana on Dec. 20th... now to figure out how to pay off the cruise before Christmas.. lol

I just checked online for what rooms were available for 2 adults and 2 kids and there are TONS left. Looks like just about every category except concierge.
You are so lucky you get to book stuff earlier. We are first time cruisers. Part of me wishes I hadn't found the DIS so I could be blissfully ignorant!LOL

We booked a long time ago, but just getting around to the DIS meet. We will be celebrating my 50th at Castaway Cay, and we booked a suite so I'm pretty sure we'll have our favorite cabana.

So far, just the two of us. We are trying to get some friends to join us, but we'll have fun no matter what.

I get to make reservations at midnight tonight! Cabana 8, here we come!

Guess What folks. I am sadly jumping off this boat. We have changed our cruise to earlier (January) and trying out Princess. I hope you all have a great trip.

It may seem like there are not may people booked on this cruise, but as of now there are only 4 cabanas left-- 2 family beach and 2 serenity bay. I set my alarm to book one at 12 AM when the concierge/platinum 120 day window opened, and I was one of the first to get one. There aren't very many suites on the Wonder, so it is possible that there are a lot of Platinums on this cruise or concierge guests are hogging them.

newgirl-that is a bummer, but at least you get to go earlier! I'm considering Princess for 2014 Alaska along with RC. Hope you have a great time!

Cabana-I'm not holding my breath, but one can hope!LOL I'll check periodically after my date to see if anyone cancels. I could get lucky. And not the end of the world if we don't get one. At least it will save me some money if we don't!

This will be my families first Disney Cruise (well, cruise period!) We are super excited.

Bahaccah- I saw you post about the FE, is that the Fish Extenders that I keep hearing about? If so, please let me know how to join!

The FE link is on the google doc sheet in the link in the first post. Just click it and there will be fields you fill out-names, things you like, etc. Just fill it out with each person you want in the FE exchange. Yes-it is the fish extenders

Lexi-this IS the cruise meet thread-where you get to know people on your cruise
Cabana-just search the main board. They are on Castaway Cay.
FE gift exchange-the sign up is in my first post on this thread. You can search FE or fish extender. Basically you make a little mailbox called a fish extender-can be as easy as a plastic bag to gather things or an elaborate one that you can see pics of here. Each cabin makes/buys small(or large-there is no limit-this is FUN)gifts for each person and/or cabin. There are tons of ideas of gifts on the main page. As simple as postcards to elaborate scrapbooks. You'll get the names and cabin numbers of all involved and you deliver the gifts at your discretion.

Hi there! We were going on the March 30 sailing but I just switched to this one to better coincide with my kids spring break. It is me, DH, DD4 and DD7. DH and I have sailed RC once years ago, but this is the first Disney cruise for us and the girls first ever! So excited but feeling a little overwhelmed!

We are thinking about flying in to Miami on 4/3 and spending the night close to port. Has anyone ever done that? Any hotel suggestions? Thanks.

So far, I think all of us but maybe 1 are first time cruisers with DCL and I don't think any of us have gone out of Miami before. For hotels, look on the main board. There is a recent thread started since Miami cruises just started in the past 2 weeks. There were a couple hotels mentioned. We are staying at the Marriott at South Beach. We are flying in on the 2nd and doing a bit of sight seeing so wanted to be on Ocean Drive. If we were just staying 1 night before, I'd try to find somewhere that had a grocery/liquor store in walking distance so I could get my goods before getting on the boat. (We are flying in so even sunscreen will be purchased in Miami since we cannot fly with enough of it for 4 people) Maybe ask on the board or go to cruisecritic.com and select Miami as the port and search there.
