NEED EXPERT ADVICE :bounce:Used Priceline for first time and won Renaissance World Gate for $35.00 1/28-2/5 for me,DH, DD and DS Now I need experts to tell me if this is an OK place to stay. Any feedback would be welcome!! I'm thinking it's a Marriott so it can' t be that bad, and it comes with a full breakfeast :) :Pinkbounc

You did fine! We stayed there last April.....the room set up is different. The window side wall is where the drawers and cabinet with fridge, etc. are. The bathroom has a corner tub (garden tub?). When we stayed, there was no complimentary breakfast so I am not sure about that. We did not use the pool there, we had no time. The lobby area is large and there is a gift shop. Make sure that if you have a car and are going to WDW that you get directions for the "back way". Saves time and avoids traffic. I wouldn't say that it is a breathtakingly beautiful place but it is sufficient and nice.
I want to point out that there are 2 similiar sounding but different places - Renaissance World Gate in WDW vicinity and Renaissance Orlando Resort in the Universal vicinity, according to Priceline.
;)

That is a great Hotel. It is not themed but the interior hallways are very nice. The lobby is spacious and nice though a bit bland. The pool is in the center courtyard and was not crowded when I was there in May. The rooms are average size and had a nice layout though the bathroom is a bit small!!! It was comfortable and quiet. The drive into the parks was short and easy. If you have a car there is a back way into WDW property that is easy too. I could see the tree of Life at the Animal Kingdom from my room. It is a very Distant sight but there non the less. :) And for the price you got a deal.

:) Thankyou for the reply. I actually switched from AllStar Sports,d/t my fear that it will be very loud with cheerleaders when I need to sleep. I actually want too see a competition, but I need quiet to sleep, have a stressful medical job,and am seeking quiet. We'll go back to Disney 9/03

This is a very good rate. We stayed there in September of 2002. Our only complaint was that there never seemed to be enough parking. But that could have had something to do with the fact that their was a wedding there that week. LOL!!

Anyway I loved the tub. Plenty of towels. They even arranged my soms toys in the window every day. I was definitely impressed by this hotel. I used priceline also.

My husband and I stayed there one night last month. We also used priceline.com. Very nice hotel, I would definitely stay there again.

I have also stayed there and there was no breakfast included in the price. Anyone else? Nadinenurse, where did you get the breakfast information. If that's something new I might try to stay there again.
