Hi!
I can't believe it - our family won two official YOAMD prizes... my DH and DS won lanyards coming off Goofy's Barnstormer, and all of us won Dream Fastpasses coming out of Mission:Space! We just missed getting ears twice, too - once on Tower of Terror, and once at Downtown Disney (they literally ran out of ears as my kids ran up). It was so fun to win the dreams!
Right after we won our Fastpasses, we were standing around outside M:S, and saw the DreamTeam. The kids asked if we could take a picture with them, since we were still so excited about the Fastpasses, so we went over and started talking to them. Well, they said gather around, watch this video with this family... it was the family winning the stay in the Castle!! The Dad had been in the right seat on Soarin'! The mom started crying - I did, too, it was just so neat. It was their first ever Disney trip, and they had just arrived that morning. Amazing!
We also met another Castle family later in the week - they were seated at CRT as we were leaving, and I recognized them from the parade. I talked to the Mom for a minute - she said they had won at Soarin, too!
We had an incredible week - great weather, low crowds (till Saturday the 20th), and fun for all of us. The week was a dream come true, even if we hadn't won the prizes, but that made it extra special!
