I am just looking at the options of a good high end support walking/hiking sandal for everyday life and our June trip to WDW? I found that the brands Keen and Merrell are the two common brands that come up in searches. Any thoughts of a sporty sandal with a good comfortable support?

I love my Merrell flip flops. One is Senise and the other I think is Genoa. I've worn Merrells on my last four WDW trips and they are the best!!! The support is amazing and I wear orthotics in my shoes. My feet don't hurt, burn or get blisters with my Merrells. If I could wear them all year long I would. Unfortunately, I live in a suburb of Chicabo:tigger:

Thanks for the reply. I am looking at the sandals that have the enclosed toe. Just can't decide upon all the different styles.

Teva Dozers are a comfortable closed toe option. I have plantar faciatis and try to buy better shoes with good support. I bought a pair (suede/leather) last summer and fell in love. Went back and bought a second pair (plastic of some sort). I wore them continuously and they are perfect for lots of walking. THey were slightly cheaper than the Keen pair that I was planning to buy.

Not to be gross but... my only complaints are I felt that after awhile they accumulated some grunge on the inside sole (mainly on the plastic type pair) and both pairs began to smell. The grunge could be cleaned out and any number of foot sprays can be used to help overcome the odor.
