He shot her and held her hostage, and now she's appologizing for "failing him".

I feel bad for what originally happened to her, but how do you remain sympathtic to someone who plans to do this?

Gosh, I try soo hard to see the silver lining in some situations, but if this were me I wouldn't be marrying him - and I would be thanking the judge for putting him behind bars!

You can forgive someone without marrying them. I can understand her wishing she could have helped him with his rage. I can understand (and respect) her forgiving him for what he has done. I can't understand her marrying him anyway.

Sounds like she had alot in common with that country singer (I can't think of her name) that her boyfriend beat her within an inch of her life and she's now pregnant by him. Serious therapy needed, imo.
