We have a ressie for here during our stay. I have been looking for some reviews for this restuarant but haven't found any. Any suggestions?

My family liked it so much last year that we went back another time within a week.

It's been talked about here in the past week or so. Try the Dining Reviews section of this board. You might want to search for "WPC" as well as the full name of the restaurant.

It depends, which review would you like - the review of our dinner there in December '06 or the review of our dinner there in May '07? We had a completely different experience both times. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit in December, the food was well prepared and the service was wonderful. I couldn't understand the bad reviews I had seen posted.

After our dinner in May I understood what the other side was talking about. It was almost like we were in a different restaurant. Our server was difficult to find and seemed uninterested in our table. The food was not at all what it was on our December visit. The BBQ chicken quesadilla which we loved in December was just ok in May, I guess because it wasn't served very warm. The crust on the kid's pizza was black and the server actually rolled her eyes when I asked that they take it back and bring another with unburnt crust. The creme brulee was so overdone we gave up after two bites.

I guess what I am trying to say is it obviously depends on what day you catch them as to the kind of experience you are going to have. WPC did not make the cut for our next trip.

We were there last Nov. and loved it! We have ADR's for this Nov. trip!:thumbsup2 :cool1: :thumbsup2

We tried WPC for the first time last August. Enjoyed it so much we are going back next month.

We eat at WPC everytime we visit WDW. We have never had a bad experience there. the food is always delicious, and the service is good. 2 meals that i've had that stand out are the Macadamia Nut Crusted Breast of Chicken and the Meatloaf. I would recommend both to you.

I have had the Calamari there and some Shrimp Pasta. Both were excellent. Mom really wanted a steak that night and she really liked that too. I really enjoyed WPC. It's a resturant that I would repeat depending on where plans take us when next time. I like to try new things everytime we go but it was definately worth repeating.

Our second dinner at WPC wasn't quite as good as the first, so I'd agree with what you've said. There was a noticeable difference in the way foods were prepared, but the second time was still good--just not as amazingly good. We're going back on the next trip to WDW.

The same thing happened to us! We went once and thought it was good, so the next time we brought the entire family with us. We were so disappointed and embarrassed for recommending it! The service was awful; it was like they didn't have time for us and didn't care at all. The bread was also as hard as a rock; three in our party ordered different sandwiches and had to take the food off the bread to eat them! Unfortunately, we don't plan on returning any time soon.

I ate there last month (May) and it was very good. I was on the DDP and had mango iced tea, the artichoke dip and Wolf's steak. They were very good. I was too full for dessert, but James, my waiter suggested I take it to go since I was on the DDP. I got a key lime pie to go and it was very good also. I had wonderful service, by the way.

The only thing about WGP is that if you are on the DDP Disney only reimburses them $36.00/diner and that includes the waiters tips, so you might want to carry some extra money to bring the tip up to what it should be.

We loved WGP's....Especially the butternut squash soup....and DD loved the chocolate fondue.

Eating there again this trip... Enjoy!:thumbsup2

We went there on our trip at the end of April/beginning of May and my DF and I LOVED it. It'll definitely be on our list for next year!

it was good at one time..but like everything else at disney..its more $$$$$$$ for not much at all..but as far as food its good..but never went bacck the last 4 or 5 trips so is no big deal if you miss it..the same for rose and crown..its really gone down hill..we wonnt even go near the palce anymore..we 3 to 4 times a year to disney..we started to eat of grounds..cheaper and more good food
