Super quick question here!

Is there still a WPE in DTD West Side? I know there's one in the Marketplace, but I can't find anything confirming if there's still one at DTD WS. Has anyone been lately that can confirm?

Yes, the West Side location is still there. It's in the same building as the WPC/Dining Room.

Are both the Express locations (Westside and Marketplace) on the DDP as a CS meal? Is one location different from the other as far as menu and/or more pleasant dining area, or outside tables, etc? Is one recommended more than the other?

I"ve never been to DTD, but from the map it looks like maybe the Westside is closer to where the boats from POR drop you off?

Thanks!

It is considered a counter service meal.

It looks like the Marketplace menu is slightly larger than the West Side Menu. We've eaten at the Marketplace location several times and have never had a bad meal there. It's one of our favorite CS locations.

The Marketplace location had a much more varied menu when we were there in November. It was during Free DDP and it looked like the WS slashed their menu:sad2: I remembered it being bigger when I looked on AllEars.net before our trip

The Marketplace location is closer to where the boats to DTD from POR/POFQ
docked.
We always do WPE on every trip , several trips more than once:thumbsup2

The West Side location has a much more limited menu than the Marketplace and not nearly as much seating. There isn't any indoor seating except for a couple of counter spots.

Marketplace also recently changed its menu, eliminated a good many dishes, but it is still more extensive than West Side.

I would stick with the markeplace location. It's nice to eat in air conditioning and we enjoyed the menu choices at the maketplace location more.

Got it....sounds like the Marketplace location is the one to go to. Thats the one that is NOT connected to the WPCafe, correct?
Its all so confusing as I've never been to DTD!

I want to eat at WPE Marketplace in May and have never been to DTD. I am considering driving to POFQ to look around and have breakfast. Could I then take the boat to DTD? Does this sound fun or like too much of a hassle? Thanks for your help! :goodvibes

you can easily take the boat from POFQ to DTD.

I have always enjoyed eating at WPE at the DTD Marketplace. Great Menu, large portions, & great food...and I love that its considered a CS

The Marketplace and West Side locations are not even close to each other. If you enter from the Marketplace bus stop area and walk up and around the Christmas store, you will find the Marketplace location. It isn't anywhere near the Wolfgang Puck Cafe.

Thanks for the info! Do the resorts boats from POR & POFQ drop closer to Marketplace?

I think that sounds very relaxing and nice! POR and POFQ are next to each other, with POR at the end of the boat line. So you could drive to POR and walk the very pretty loop around the grounds, cross the bridges to check out Ol' Man island and then walk or take short boat to FQ, walk around there, and then pick up a boat the rest of the way to DTD.

In case you haven't seen it before, here is a website with POR and POFQ info and pictures:
