Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD...counter service?

Is this really only a counter service? We have dinner reservations at Capn Jacks at 7:20, and were thinking of heading straight to DTD to spend the first day we get in. I figured we could eat lunch, walk around and sight see and then get some dinner. We are staying at POR so we could always take the boat back to the resort in between meals.

Yes, Wolfgang Puck Express is counter service and it is an AWESOME restaurant . We eat there atleast once every trip......great food .

We ate there at the end of June and it was one of the best meals we had while at Disney. We were on the dining plan and it was defintely 1 CS credit per meal when we got the bill it would have been almost $80 for 4 of us so it is also a great value. Servers do bring you food and drinks after ordering at the counter so we left a cash tip but I dont know if it was expected.

Yes..It is a counter service and it is one of our absolute FAVES. Especially on the dining plan! I love their salads & pizzas..dh loves their tortilla soup which I can't image eating on a hot day..but he gets it every time. They have lots of yummy choices.

WPE is a great CS choice.

It really is great. We weren't sure if we were supposed to leave a tip either. We decided not to since it was CS & we also kind of checked out other tables that people were leaving to see if they had left a tip. Never sure what to do at those CS places where they kind of wait on you.

I always leave a tip when i dine there.
