Wolfgang Puck - DTD

Can you get PS for Wolfgang Puck in DTD? We're thinking of trying it out with our freebie food plan. Any thoughts or opinions of your dining experience there are appreciated as well.

You don't need one for the downstairs restaurant..it is like quick food, get it and eat. I wouldn't make a special stop there. Not at all impressive.

We really love WP and eat there every time we visit DW. We do get PS and sometimes they are needed. In June we had wonderful spinach salad and chicken quesadillas. They also came around with trays of different kinds of drinks like martinis and sunrise something (?) that made for a nice surprise. I've eatten at WP maybe 8 times and have always found the food hot and tasty, at least enought to keep us coming back.

We have eaten there 2 times before, and please above poster do not take offense but this is not correct about eating downstairs.

Yes you can make ADR's there, and there are actually 3 types of dinning offered at Wolf Gang's.

There is the Wolf Gang Express which is counter service, serving pizza's sandwiches and such. You cannot make ADR's for this.

Then there is the Wolf Gang Cafe, located on the main floor, we had our most expensive dinner ever at WDW there in Nov. 03, we had the Silver Plan and it was included on our list of eating establishments. We both had appetizers, main course (great steak) and we were so full, we took our desserts back to POR for later. While we were eating, I saw a plate which looked interesting carried by our waitress and asked what was it, it was a huge whole lobster, served to look like a white pineapple and broiled on top. She said you can order one too, its allowed on the plan, so we did, the bill for just the lobster was $75.00 so our meal total was over $200. for the night. It was delicious by the way.

Now the other place Wolf Gang offers is the more private "Upstairs" dinning room, I believe prices start around $75. each, last time I looked and it was not offered on the plan.

So there are 3 choices for you and the main Cafe is offered as 1 TS if you are on the meal plan. Great choice if you are over there for the evening or to see Cirq!

are you talking about Wolfgang Puck Express or Cafe?

Our first meal in DW was at the Wolfgang Puck Cafe. We had checked into our room at POR, then had a quick visit to the Magical Kingdom and then over to Downtown Disney for an early dinner. DH had a personal pizza and I had a very spicy Thai chicken salad which was awesome. After a full day of travel, and walking around the Kingdom, dinner hit exactly the right tone. We went back there 2 more times during our visit

We ate at Wolfgang Puck Cafe the last night of our trip last week and had a party of 12, and everyone loved the dinner. I had been there years ago and loved it. I think it's one of the best meals in WDW. I had ordered tuna something and didn't realize it came only pan-seared (I'm not much for raw fish), so they took it back and cooked it more for me and it was great. Other people in our party who love raw fish and sushi thought this place had the best and freshest they had ever eaten. DH loved his steak. BIL got meatloaf. My kids had pasta and pizza. Lots of menu choices. We also had a great waiter and a view of the water (we could have sat outside, but it was soooo hot)

I just made my PS for Wolfgang Puck's Cafe for October. The menu looks great...lots of variety! It is on the dining plan, and the Express at Marketplace is also on the plan for CS. Can't wait to try both!!
