Wolfgang Puck Cafe - Possible walk up?

When I first booked our ADRs a few weeks ago, all that Wolfgang Puck Cafe had available for dinner was 6pm and 9pm. 6pm was too early for us, so I went ahead and booked 9pm. I keep checking to see if anything in between will come up, but every day 6 and 9 are the only times offered. Is Wolfgang Puck really that popular? Or is it possible that they hold some tables for walk ups during dinner time? I was thinking about just showing up at 7:30 or 8 and seeing if we could be seated then. Thanks!

When we ate there (busy time of year) we went with ADRs but there were several parties who walked up at the same time and were accomodated no problem. (around 6:30 pm) I would think with a later dinner hour like you would like it would not be a problem. I guess it would depend on that day how busy they are, though, so don't take that in stone, just sharing our observations.

We were able to get in as a walk-up 2 years ago with no problem during free dining and it was probably around 7ish. I think I have read somewhere on the DIS that they don't allow the disney site to completely book up all their dining slots.

I was thinking the same thing (about not allowing Disney to book up all of the dining slots). Thanks!

We have never waited more that 20 minutes as a walk up, even during free dining!! Good luck!
