I have an ADR at Wolfgang Puck Cafe for our December trip. DH saw some of the pictures of the food at WPC on the food porn thread and said he doesn't want to eat there. He said nothing he saw looked very good to him. Also, and probably most importantly, he saw a picture of the creme brulee sampler. This man really loves his custard and he noticed that in one picture, the strawberry almost covered the entire top of the creme brulee. He thinks that makes the dessert way too small for him.

Any advice from others who have eaten there? We aren't terribly picky about the atmosphere. For DH, it is all about the food. How were your dinners? And if you had the creme brulee sampler, how was it?

TIA

Ate there yesterday. Yum!

I had a shrimp casear salad, DH had the fetticini alfredo, and DS had BBQ chicken flat bread. None of us had dessert, we were still pretty full from eating garbage during POTC.

BUT, we have had dessert there before--to DIE FOR! The full sized creme brulee is almost too big, you get that umscsh feeling in your mouth before you can finish it all.

We loved the choclate fondue as well, VERY rich!

On the DDP in May...it was our favorite restaurant.
Filet Mignon entree, crab cake appetizer and creme brulee dessert. :goodvibes

YUM

We've eatten at WPC many times and love it!!! The food is always fresh, hot and full of flavor. There is a real good variety of food, I can't see anyone not being able to find something wonderful!!! :thumbsup2

We ate here on our last trip and it was one of our favourite meals. :worship:

Lots of choice, excellent service and lovely if you request a table outside overlooking the water. We sat inside as we didnt know you could sit outside but we will definately be asking to sit there in September.

We both enjoyed our meals and my New York cheesecake was yummy!!! :cloud9:

They've enclosed the back area that overlooks the water. The only outside dining now is on the side of the restaurant.

Thank you everyone for the input. I think DH is willing to give it a try.
