Woken up to a blizzard

we have three or four inches of snow and its showing no signs of stopping

poor boys are off to do their paper round theey are going to be cold


is it snowing where you live?

It has snowed and settled where we live, but has stopped now!! Hopefully it will be like Easter Sunday and have melted by lunch time!! We set off driving to the channel tunnel in 36 hours to drive to DLP so I hope it isn't snowing then!!

We have 3 inches of snow here, first time it has all yr. Ds1 is already wanting to put his wellies on and get out and play. He is also meant to be going to a birthday party today, we are just going to see what happens, hopefully it will melt by then.

It was snowing here in Plymouth about ten minutes ago but it has not settled , poppy the puppy went out in her first snow and loved it she was trying to catch the flakes DS of 11 looked at it and went back to bed . Hope it does not cause to much problems with peoples days and I hope the party guests all arrive .

It's our dd party today(her birthday will be on wed)as well and i'm thinking the same thing.Lets hope yours+mine show up.Ours is in one of them indoor play centre's.
The snow has been going since about 6-30am and is showing no signs of stopping.x.

Yes we have some. It has settles on everything but the roads, it's still snowing very lightly.

we have had snow here, in Southampton from 7am this morning but it was all melted by about 11am

I had to get to Theale for a fishing competition this morning and 2 of the three ways I tried there blocked by accidents.
The journey I normally do in half an hour took me 2 and a half hours and one very near miss.

At the fishery if you fished one side of the lake it was like standing in a blizzard and on the other a lovely spring day, you can guess which side I was stuck on. I'm not complaining though as that was the side the fish were on.

We had a good covering of snow here in cheshire, eldest DD went to a party whilst my youngest and I went out in it!!, made a small snowman and had lots of fun together , then came home and made some lovely rice crispy cakes with the easter eggs , just had another covering of snow about an hour ago!!, still sleeting now.......

Brilliant sunshine in Newark this morning - had a tennis match and had to wear sunglasses most of the time. Got home about 2pm and saw the first flakes of snow!

Snows pretty much gone now. It looked really pretty outside this morning. When was the last time we had snow in April?!
