Woc

I was just going to ask this! I am callng in disney reservations soon and I want the best view :)

I just read the WOC super thread and I think the best view is the Wine Country Trattoria

The dining packages: WCT dinner or Carthay Circle, offer the same view area.

WCT lunch or picnics give you the same FPs you can get in the FP machines for free.

WCT and Carthay give you the same section--center known now as green, but you still compete with the rest of the diners for the best place in that section. You should still get there early enough to secure an unobstructed view. There's also a reserved section that you pay for that's on the back stairs behind the green section. I don't know how much it costs, but a CM who works with my DD who works WOC a lot let my DH and I in there one night after we had dined at Carthay and had our green FP from dinner :cool1:

Just wondering if the crowds are still ridiculous as they were when the show first opened. We are planning on doing the Carthay Circle because we aren;t big fans of the food at WCT..

Actually, people who have done the WOC package with Carthay Circle are reporting that they are getting spots around the VIP area. Essentially, if you dine with CCT, you don't have to line up as early as people did in the past for preferred dining. When you show the CC WOC pass, a CM will actually place you in a spot rather than you lining up and holding it....Hopefully that made sense.
I would rather do CCT for WOC because I would have a better chance of enjoying the meal (we are foodie types), plus you get more specialized attention when it comes to your WOC spot.

Wow, if that's still the case when we go in November, then it is no question- CCT it is! It looks like you have a better choice of options at CCT and only need a combo of any entree/ dessert or app/entree to receive the pass instead of a limited menu like WCT

We just did this from dining at CCT. We got there about 30 minutes early even tho the FP said to show up 15 minutes early, the space was already getting full but the CM there directed to a spot and then let us sit until the show started. I felt the food was absolutely worth it and the viewing location was 100% worth it!

So Pixie, you didn't wait in the line, they just let you go straight to the viewing area? Sounds too good, but I am thrilled with that as a possibility!

I think people get confused they think they will be watching WOC from Wine COuntry or Carthay Circle Theater and that's not the case the restaurant is only where you eat then you get passes and you go elsewhere in a section to watch the show

Is there a disability section within the "VIP" section?

No.

The VIP sections is for VIPs. You have to be a high level employee, a friend of one, a Club33 member or on a VIP tour to get into it. The whole sections has benches to sit in. It's not open to the general public.

All other sections, Preferred Dining, Blue and Yellow have HCA areas.
