This may have been answered before but are there any rooms that you have a decent view of World of Color at the Grand Californian? I would love to be able to see the show from my room.

All of the rooms on the bottom of this floor plan map overlook Paradise Pier, but the view to WOC is to the left, so you won't see any of the projections on the fountains. Not the same as watching the show from a good location in Paradise Park, but then again you can just slide open your door 30 seconds before the show starts and enjoy a good deal of it.

There's also a viewing area on the sixth floor (the tier where xx40 is located) which, I believe, is reserved for DVC guests (owners or points renters), if I'm not mistaken.

There really is not, you need to be upfront to see the show the way it was designed. I have yet to see it from an optimum viewpoint.

Here's my view from DVC Studio 4504. I turned slightly to the left to take this picture from the balcony. As you can see, it's a beautiful view, but for WOC viewing, you're at about in line with the water screens, which is to say you won't see any of the projections on the front of the screens. The 6th floor Paradise View Terrace is two floors up, but slightly further away from the show.

Last Saturday I watched the WOC from the 6th floor viewing area. Couldn't see the water screen pictures. Only the water that shoots up. Still it was nice watching the water and listening to the music.

Well, I have seen the show before. Just thought it would be fun to just see it from the room.
