I've read a lot of the info about the WoC and I see that you have to stand for the show. We have 4 kids and I know standing and waiting for 90 minutes will be a lot to ask of them - can you sit on the ground until WoC starts? Or is it possible for them to still do rides while some of our group saves a "spot"?

Many people do sit while saving their seats for the show. I wouldn't recommend riding rides and then trying to come back though because some people might get upset about that. Plus, it's difficult for the part of the party who does stay to save seats to save an area that will be big enough for when the whole party comes back without other people creeping into that space.

We will be attending World of Color probably on the 7th March. Do you expect we will have to line up early for a good position? We have ordered the picnic lunch for that day so will have our passes.

Yes. Here is the deal: Can you arrive later and still get decent viewing? Sometimes. If you want to take a chance on not getting a good view then you can come later. If you want to for sure get a good vieiwng spot plan to get to the queue area 90 minutes early.
