WOC Question

I'm trying to grasp this whole WOC thing. If I'm understanding it correctly, the FP seating is the same area as those who buy the picnic? Am I thinking right? I ask because what would be the advantage to spending that much money on the picnic if you're still going to battle over seating. Or, are there specific sections for the picnic buyers and FP ticket holders? If we go with just the FP seating area, will we be allowed to bring in our own food? I was thinking about going to the bakery I've read about next to the Pooh ride and put together our own little dessert boxes since Fantasmic will not be showing while we are there. Would we be allowed to do this?

The advantage of the picnic is that you don't have to line up for a FP in the morning; you can do something else instead. Some people prefer that option.

Also, you mentioned seating. There is no seating.

You can bring your own snacks with you, no problem. But they aren't free. So what will you gain from not buying the pinics? A customized meal and some extra time spent for waiting to get the FPs.

There is no seating in the viewing area, Paradise Park.

Honestly I did not like WOC. I would rather they had picnic lunch for Fantasmic....that I would pay. We had fastpass, good view but wanted to leave.

There is actually a very small amount of seating at WOC. The view would be terrible, though. At the back of the red and yellow sections there are a couple benches.

(Also, there is a reserved section of benches but you have to be on a VIP tour to sit there. DS plans on trying to save the Sprouse twins from drowning or something. )
