WOC October dates

I've been watching for the last week for bookings to become available for WOC dinner or dessert party packages during 1st week Oct. They say they are normally available 60 days out and we are down to about 50 days out now. Is this an indicator that it's not going to be on or just slow? Just trying to work out if I should book a Sep date instead.

Do you have the flexibility of booking a September date and changing to October When/If the calendar opens?

If you do that might be best.

I'm locked into the first week of October, due to airfare and scheduled work time off.
So I wait....... and check several times a day.

I haven't heard anything about a planned closure for World of Color in October (that doesn't mean they won't be one), but it is worth noting that dining reservations are typically released 60-days in advance, but there have been fairly long delays in the past. This is especially common at the start of a new month or a new "season". It might mean that they're still trying to figure out their October operating schedule (i.e., the number of WoC showings). I remember this happening in 2015 and it took until almost the end of August before dining reservations started showing up.
