Any suggestions as to which WOC dinner package restaurant would be best suited for vegetarians and/or vegans?

I know the food is made to order, however, some kitchens are more able to accommodate than others. (I've heard of people eating steamed veggies for $30). Any insight or past experiences greatly appreciated.

The WOC meals cost a lot more than $30. Ariel's has a vegetarian item on the menu, you could just go there.

I was referring to the restaurant itself charging $30 for steamed veggies, not so much tied into a WOC dinner.

Vegetarian food often had eggs or dairy. I'm looking for options for a vegan as well.

I am planning on trying Carthay Circle soon for the WOC package. I read a review on Yelp the other day about someone having a fantastic meal there. I can't remember if it was vegan or vegetarian, but she said her server was vegan and she helped them out a lot with their choices. But I'm not sure how it would be with the WOC package since the menu is prix fixe. I imagine though that they would be accommodating.

I didn't check to see if the existing item is also vegan. At Blue Bayou their vegetarian item is also vegan. The restaurant will have an option the day that you're there if it's not already on the menu, you won't know in advance.

Thank you. I'm looking more specifically at the three restaurants tied into the WOC dinner package.

Anyway, I called Disney Dining and was given some information, but there seems to be more accurate info scattered throughout various pages online.

If you are good with pasta, Wine Country always has good vegetarian options, and I would be shocked if some of them couldn't be made vegan.

Carthay Circle sometimes has a vegetarian options, but they will always make you something tailored to your tastes. I've had an amazing risotto, fresh pasta with my choice of sauce and vegetables, and while it IS a big pile of vegetables, the "veggie tower" is surprisingly delicious and worth it.

You may not find anything on the WOC menu at first glance, but if you ask, any nice table service restaurant at Disney will make you something.

Whichever restaurant you choose, make sure to note on your reservation that you are vegan/vegetarian. It always helps the kitchen to have as much advance notice as possible.
