Does anyone have any idea if and when WOC dining packages are coming back? I’m at the 60 day mark and am anxious that I’ll miss out on a the Dessert Party bookings, if they randomly pop up without any notice.

I’m not sure how they are going to allocate viewing areas, without the fast pass system. what are your thoughts, will it be done via Genie +?

Waiting for that, too! I had money saved up for the dessert party for our canceled March 2020 trip. I've never seen WOC and the dessert party seems like a fun way to do it.

I was under the impression that for the dining packages you just let your server know you'd like to upgrade to the WoC dining and a separate "dining package" reservation wasn't needed? So it would just be booked at either Wine Country Trattoria or Storytellers for a typical dining reservation. Am I incorrect on reading it this way?

According to the Parks Blog, that’s correct.

The attachment from above says coming soon leading me to believe it's not in place yet. April 20 should be able to tell us more.

I've never done a dining package. If I do the Carthay or Wine Country, do you know if you can order off the regular menu or is there a limited menu offered for the package?

Usually the dining package menus are a set menu with a limited selection from the main menu.

The answer is moot at this point, but the primary reason both resorts had limited offerings when they reopened was staffing issues- they had a far harder time getting cast members back to work than they anticipated. And then new hires had to be trained while returning cast members were being retrained. Long process.
