Let me explain......
DH and I are visiting DLR for 2.5 days, this is our first trip (WDW vets), and we really would like to experience as much as possible. I absolutely want to see WOC, but my fear is we will have to line up EARLY to get a good viewing spot, thus losing precious park time.
So my thought is to do the WOC dining package, that way we have a guaranteed spot and we dont need to waste park time getting a spot. I dont think I want to do the picnic package based on reviews I have read, but rather the actual sit down meal.
My question is considering our priorities of maximizing park time and still being able to see WOC - would you suggest it is worth it to do the dining package? Or is there a better suggestion?
Also - I am used to commando WDW dining where reservations must be made 6 months out.......lol
So, when the opporunity opens up to book the dining package (60 days out right?) do I have to call first thing that morning? Or is it not as popular as say......Le Cellier at Epcot?
Thanks!

You need to eat dinner somewhere. So this is as good a choice as any. But more than any Disney show I have seen at any of the four major resorts in the world, the WOC show experience is extremely sensitive to your viewing spot. If you are willing to learn the best spots and willing to put in the time and effort to get those spots, WOC is totally worth it. On a day trip probably not. Over 2.5 days, yes.

I need to start planning out our touring plan so that I can make sure we catch what we want in our short amount of time.
