In all my trips to WDW, I have never had luck booking a dessert party. We are looking to go August 21-27 and I'm wondering how hard it is to book the WoC party? Also, are there any reviews online of it that show pics and stuff? Thanks!

We booked reservations for New Years this year for the WoC Dessert Party. It was amazing! The view can't be beat. You get a table, chairs, two alcoholic (or non-alcoholic) beverages and a plate of sweets which also included several slices of cheese & grapes, plus breadsticks for the table. It was way more food than we could eat during the show - very rich! And so we left with two boxes of desserts to eat in the hotel throughout our stay. Honestly I booked last minute, so I'm not sure how soon you should book, in general. I guess I would try for exactly 60 days out from your stay, as that's the earliest reservations can be made. Hope that helps!

The WOC dessert party often ends up not being released 60 days out when they're still figuring out the show schedule, which could be the case for later in August when they're transitioning to shorter hours and such. So I'd try early if it's something you want to do, but don't be freaked out if it's not listed at 60 days - it's not that it's sold out; it's that it's not posted yet.

You can often find reservations for it a few weeks out, maybe even closer. So, again, grab it early if you know you want it, but it's not hyper-competitive...

Sounds like it's not like the WDW one then. Thanks!

We loved it. After a long day of walking, having a seat and some treats (and drinks!) were great! A lovely view of WOC over everyone's heads, didn't miss a thing. Totally worth every penny.

It’s not WDW but do not wait until a few weeks out! I did that my last 2 trips as they were kinda last minute & each trip only had spots on one day of the week we’d be there and nothing else opened when I watched to move it. Look at 60 days out and then keep checking every couple days. Also arrive 45 mins early to stand in the line so you get the best seats. There aren’t really bad seats but a high top table with a high top table in front of it is a bit of a bummer that can usually be prevented by being amongst the first in.
