We've done WOC dining package @ Wine Country Trattoria. The view was good even though we got to the viewing area 10 mins prior to the show but the food was just not for us. So this coming trip we are trying out the CCR package. Is there a viewing area only for CCR? if so, how's the view compare to WCT? and when should I get to the viewing area? I read the WOC super thread, it says I should get to the viewing area an hour prior but the thread was written a while ago. FYI, We'll be there on a weekday in mid August.

We did the Carthay Circle package for lunch and really enjoyed it. It has its own viewing area separate from WCT and AG. This is what the viewing area looked like at 8:45. We were standing at the railing, so all those other people on the left side of the photo are at the railing too.

My family loves the Carthay Circle for the ambience and food. It's a bonus for us to combine it w/ the WOC dining package for a good view. I do not have the need nor desire to show up super early for the show. I have always been satisfied w/ my view. The last time we saw the show, it was at the upper-most level. There were no difficulties seeing the show.

I finally got to go to Carthay Circle last week, and OMG we loved it! It was pricey, but if you don't care about that it is awesome. With the ability to upgrade the starters, the WOC menu has some of their best items. And the cocktails are great. The whole place is just awesome.

As for the view, it was great. We went on a Sunday night in July, 9:00 show, and we got there 45 minutes before showtime as our server had suggested. But the area was mostly empty, we could have gotten our same spots if we arrived 15 minutes before showtime. We stood right on the rail and had an excellent view, without getting wet. I recommend moving to the far left of the viewing area, to avoid getting a light pole right in front of you.

I would absolutely do the Carthay Circle WOC package again, and even without the package I will go back every chance I get.
