Ok now that I have reservations, time to plan.......:surfweb:

Do we need tickets or reservations foe either of these, or do we just line up to get in?

What is the preferred seating list I saw on here? How does that work?

Is the dining thing for WOC the way to go?popcorn::

Aladdin: does NOT need tickets, so you're good there :thumbsup2 I'm not sure about the preferred seating as I've never done this before, but I've never had a bad seat in the theatre either. I personally love sitting up in the Mezzanine but I've only been there once :sad1: It gives a great view of everything.

WOC: now this DOES need a ticket, a FP. You can either do the formal dining package for $40 per person or grad a picnic for $15 per person. Either one is a great option it just depends on your budget. And you get a great reserved viewing area and you don't have to line up in lines to line up in more lines and then sit and wait forever for the show to start :lmao: There are definite positives to the dining options. This is definitely one of my favorite things to do at DL, basically due to the memories and the magic it brings me. I know some people are more critical of it, but my childhood was based around alot of those movies and I really feel like I'm a kid again :goodvibes It's beautiful. BUT, you could opt out of the dining packages and FPs and waiting a couple of hours before showtime in a particular spot. It's a great view, you just need to be prepared to sit and wait for at least 90 minutes if you want that great view.

Have a magical time!!! :yay:

As the PP said no tix are needed for Aladdin. Based on which package you purchase you may get preferred seating for Aladdin. I think that perk is very, very minor. Most folks just get in line and see the show. If it is a busier day you need to do that 30 minutes early.

For WOC you need a ticket of some kind. See "World of Color Superthread" www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=37986447. If the cost of the dining res works for you ($35-40 per person) the dinner approach is a good one. We did that last summer and it was great. See above link for more info.

OP, the link that Hydroguy will explain that paying for the dining packages and picnics are NOT the only options. Most people just get a free Fastpass out of the machine the morning/afternoon of the show.

Also, with the picnics, you get a regular FP. With the dinners, you get a special section. The picnics save you the time fo walking to the FP machines in the morning, but they don't save you the time of coming early to get a good spot.

You do not need ressies for either . The prefered viewing is the dining options. There is no seating at WOC. A lot of peple say the dining option is the way to go, they have 3 options, ariels, WCT and a picnic option. WITH the picnic option you get either yellow or blue section,I had yellow it was pretty good
