WLV smoking rooms

Does anyone know the location of the smoking one bedroom villas? Do these have full size balconies? What kind of view and access to the elevators will we have? Thank you!

All the smoking rooms at VWL are located on the 2nd floor. They will have a balcony off the living room only, as there are no balconies in the masterbedrooms at VWL.

Hi Lori!

Do you know where in relation to the elevators the smoking one bedroom will be? I'm looking at a map and I've requested room 2517- but also smoking. Can't tell if it is or not from the info I can find.

I believe the smoking rooms are down the long hallway away from the elevators, and I believe 2517 is right off the elevators over the atrium and that would be a non-smoking room. I believe all the smoking rooms are down the long hallway, towards the end. Since you have a smoking request, you're room choices will be limited. Requesting a specific room is always a bad idea, because if that room isn't available, the Room Assigner has no idea where to put you. If I were you, I'd ask for a smoking room close to the elevators.

The smoking rooms start at 2545. Just returned yesterday and stayed there.

If they start at 2545, it looks like from the map that there would only be one- one bedroom smoking villa. Maybe they have more on the other end of the second floor?

Nope, that side is non-smoking. DVC usually allocates approx 10% of the rooms for smoking optional status, and that would mean about 13 smoking rooms. Since ther are only 136 rooms at VWL, that would keep with the percentages. My guess is that room 2544 is also included, since 2546 is s connecting studio and they wouldn't have a connecting studio smoking and the connecting 1 bedroom non-smoking. So, that would mean that there are 2 one bedrooms that are smoking.
