WL Wow!!!

We just stayed at the WL for the first time and I don't think we will ever stay anywhere else at Disney! It was wonderful! The building is gorgeous. We loved being on Bay Lake (usually stay at BC). We could see most of Wishes from our balcony. We all really enjoyed seeing the EWP and the close proximity to Fort Wilderness. We had to stay two extra nights because of Hurricane Jeanne. The hotel just kept right on hopping! They had great activities for the kids and the restaurants were open for every meal. The CM's could not have been friendlier or more helpful!! Thank you WL fans for all of the great information I read before picking this incredible resort!!

We're staying for first time first Dec. Did you have standard, woods or courtyard view? We have courtyard & I have no idea what to request. Glad you had a great time. I can't wait to stay there with the Christmas decorations.

MAGICinMYHEART-you have a great memory! To be honest, the pool was our least favorite part of WL. However, since everything else was fabulous we were able to survive!!

We had a woods view, room 3004. We really liked the location. It was at the very end of a hallway so we could use the elevator and be right at Roaring Forks or zip down the stairwell and be near the pool and path to the boats. I would definitely get this location again. Also, it was very quiet. We were not bothered by noise at all. It was fun to see Wishes from the balcony. My DS liked watching the boats go by.

Our last stay was at the BC and we still prefer the WL...the BC just isn't $100 a night nicer to us. we just got back from POFQ and even though the slide was small, nobody was complaining, least of all my DS. I think we porject a lot of things onto our kids that just never materialize. I , too, though DS would be disappointed after SB, but he had a blast.
