WE ARE GOING!!!!:bounce: I just booked a six night stay ay WL for the 2nd week of June (6/7 -6/13). Intended on getting a std room with code and was offered woods view for only $100 extra for the entire stay. Now my question. We stayed at WL Dec 2001 but we had a courtyard view. Upgraded at check-in. Where are the best woods views. I remember posts prior to our last trip mentioning an otter pond. Any and all info appreciated.

Hi

We had a woods view that was north wing looking out to MK. It was on the end of the row, I believe, on the fourth floor, and although if you looked left you saw the delivery area, if you looked straight ahead you got the MK, the monorail and Contemporary I think. Directly below was the otter pond.

The room is 4034. Not sure if trees would now block the view as this was two years ago. I would recommend the room again anyway or a higher similar one. Also handy for the vending machine and ice machine and the elevators... and also for Roaring Fork.

Did I mention I'm going to WL on Thursday (concierge!)?

We were above the otter pond also last August. room 5030 just missing that view of the castle. Although it was a nice wooded view with the pond, we were right by the elevator which was very noisey when people would come back from the parks late at night. Next time I would request or should I say WILL request a room at the end of the hall.

Hi, we returned just two ago, we had room 3016 on the woods side. Although you could not see the castle, we watched the fireworks almost every night! The room is about halfway down the hall from the elevators and the really loud ice machine, we never heard a sound. I would think that from the fifth or sixth floor you would have a great view! Good Luck and enjoy!:)

:D Thanks for your info. We have requested bunk beds. Did either of you have them? If not does anyone know which rooms on the north wing do?

Disneyrunner, Yes we did have a bunk bed room, everyone in our family needs their own bed. By the way, they just replaced the mattreses on the Queen beds throughout the hotel, my dad ended up having an egg crate or foam pad put on the bed, he said it was extremely new and very firm, but this is only his opinion, he had back surgery a year ago, so I'm not sure if anyone else felt the same way. Again, good luck, and the higher the floor, the better the view of the fireworks! :)
