WL vs. VWL AND WL bunkbeds????

Okay, two different questions in one post:
1. Are the studios at VWL any bigger than the rooms at WL? In the photos I've seen online, they look the same size or maybe even smaller than WL???
2. One thing that's put us off the idea of a bunkbed room at WL is that I'd read they're very dark...that the second wall light was removed to make room for the bunks, making it quite dim. I just saw a photo on Deb's site of a bunkbed and the light was right there, above the top bunk? Is this new and the rooms are brighter now?

Actually the studios at VWL are approx 40 sq ft bigger then the rooms at WL. I can't help you with the bunk bed room, since the only one I stayed in was at AKL, and there was a light above the second bunk there. Just remember if you choose a studio, you'll get a queen bed, double sofa bed, along with a kitchenette. The kitchenette can really help keeping snacks, drinks and for having breakfast in the room.

We've stayed at the WL in a bunkbed room and there was a light above the top bunk. I didn't think the room was dark at all.
