WL to TTC?

OK I have a few questions about WL transportation. My future in-laws are going to be staying here for our wedding so we are trying to help them in any way.

I was wondering if there is a bus that runs from the WL to the TTC?

My Future MIL hates buses so I'm thinking that a quick bus ride to the ttc and a monorail ride would be better than a long bus ride to Epcot.

How often do the boats leave for Mk? And the CR? (that's where we will be staying) Also I read somewhere that there are no buses from MK to the WL? CAn anyone confirm or deny this for me?

Thanks!!!

Hi Princess_Belle,

I just got back from the Villas at Wilderness Lodge. Unfortunately, there is no bus that goes directly from the WL to the TTC.

When I was there, the boats from WL for MK (green flag) and CR (blue flag) arrived/departed approximately every 15 minutes during the morning and afternoon. We never used them at night, so I don't know their schedule for that time.

The buses to the different parks and Downtown Disney show up every 15-20 minutes.

HTH!

There are buses from WL to MK. For a few months in late 2006 or so, construction at the MK bus area meant that, temporarily, buses from WL and Fort Wilderness went to the TTC instead of directly to MK. But that was just temporary and is no longer the case ... regular bus service has been back for many months now. Maybe that's where you heard about the supposed no bus thing.

He could take a boat from WL to CR, then the monorail from CR to TTC, and then switch monorails at TTC and ride to Epcot. Of course, including waiting times, that could easily take about an hour, because he'd have to wait for a vehicle to arrive for each of the three separate legs of the journey, versus one bus ride from WL to Epcot.

Perhaps a car rental will be more his style?
