WL to Kona Cafe (Poly) to MK

We are planning a afternoon break, then Kona for dinner then to MK for EMH. Does anyone know the best way to do this? Boat to Contemporary, monorail to Poly (is that possible?). Or boat to MK, walk to Poly? I am so confused and I want to make sure that I have it all figured out. DH isn't always the most patient when it comes to logistics. Thanks!

First be aware that the route the boats take changes. So ask the first boat you see what it's route is. Sometimes the boat goes WL to CR to FW then you best choice would be that way. It reverses at nite I think for Hoop de Do.

Then the MK boat does the same either WL to MK to FW or WL to FW to MK. Understand

I also believe there is a bus that goes to the MK.

There are many options:
Boat to CR then monorail to Poly
Bus to MK then boat or monorail to Poly

My 1st pick would be:
cab to Poly (it is soooo close, but you can't walk), eat and then take monorail or boat to MK for EMH.
I've cabbed for WL to Poly - had a great driver, he didn't even charge us, we tipped well! I wouldn't count on that but maybe $5. Worth it IMO when you're going to dinner.

A cab is certainly a good option. I would agree that $5, or maybe $10 would cover it. After all, the Poly is really only probably .25 mile away from WL as a crow flies, but it's too dangerous a walk with a fairly busy street to cross, and then the super-busy TTC.

Other than a cab, the quickest way to the Poly from WL would be the WL bus to MK (direct), then the Poly boat to Poly. The reason I prefer this to the monorail is that the monorail will have at least one or two very busy stops to make before getting to the Poly, while the boat might just make a direct run for you or will stop at GF at the worst, if you're a little lucky.

From the Poly to MK, I'd monorail over, since you have only the GF to stop at and it's one of the faster stops.

From MK to WL at night, I've only been able to take the boat, as I've not stayed there since they instituted the direct bus route from MK to WL, so I don't know which would be faster at the end of the day (keeping mind the crowds at the bus stops).

Thanks for the advice. I hadn't even considered a cab. We will have a car, but I think that won't work - sounds like the cab is the quickest option. Do you just call and have one meet you at the WL? Is there a certain cab company that services WDW?
