WL to Epcot

Thinking about trying to use the monorail to go from WL to Epcot. Would my best bet to be to use the boat to Contemporary then take the monorail to Epcot? We've never used the monorails so aren't there 2 monorails? Which should I take?

Also, we have the spirit of aloha show booked one night. Boat to MK then monorail to Poly? Again is there a certain monorail to use? Or is it quicker to go to contemporary by boat and then monorail to poly?

For the 1st part WL to Epcot you can get the resort monorail (there is only one you can get there) at the contem then get off that one at the ticket center and board the epcot monorail. Little bit of a hassle but if you want to take the monorail go for it .
To get to the poly take the boat to the contem again and ride the same resort monorail to the poly. I think this is faster then going to MK but if the MK boat is there when you get to dock you might as well take it.

Don't know if you know that you will need to change trains at TTC for Epcot. So boat to CR or MK, then Resort or Express Monorail to TTC, then Epcot Monorail. Transferring at CR would probably be faster, but you may elect to go to MK if the CR boat is full.

If you get the boat to MK, the Express Monorail would be faster than the Resort Monorail, if it's running and taking on passengers at MK. The Express starts later and shuts down earlier than the Resort beam, and may not accept boarding at MK around the time of MK opening.

Unless your goal is to ride the monorail, it's simpler and probably quicker just to take a bus directly there from WL.
