WL to EPCOT

We are staying at the WL in May. Is it possible to take the boat to MK and then the monorail to EPCOT?

I think that if you do that you may have to change monorails at the TTC. But to answer your question, yes it can be done.

Yes, I definitely think that it would be faster to take the bus. Also the boat from WL to MK while neat is a bit slow.

You don't have to go all the way to MK to get the monorail, another option is take the boat to the Contemporary and monorail to TTC where you change to the Epcot line. Which one's quicker depends on how long you have to wait for bus / monorail / boat. In general I'd guess bus is quicker since you only have to wait for it, going the other way means at least 2 waits - boat and monorail. However the bus did go WL-FW-Epcot last summer which did add on some time.... we typically made it to Epcot in under half an hour
(including bus wait times) last August with moderate crowds which we thought was acceptable.

But if you do take the monorail from MK be sure to catch the "express" monorail, not the one that stops at each resort. Besides not stopping at the resorts, when at the TTC you just cross the platform to get to the EPCOT monorail. With the "resort" monorail you have to take an exit ramp down to ground level then walk up another ramp to get to the EPCOT monorail, so there's more walking involved with that option.

Definitely faster to take the bus, but, if you do choose the monorail.....I agree with above poster......take a boat to CR and grab the MR to the TTC there rather than going to the MK..........then at TTC simply transfer to the Epcot MR.
