WL to BLT

Hello fellow Disers! Could someone tell me if there is a boat that runs from the WL to the Contemporary so we can hop on the monorail? I'm leaning towards staying at the BLT with DD 1 yr old and DH but DH likes the WL better. We want to stay some place with a 1 bedroom villa so those are our 2 choices in the MK area. We will have dining reservations at the GF, Chef Mickey's and Ohana. Thanks for any help!

Yes there is. We've taken it many times. Love the WL for that reason (among others). Very easy to get to the Contemporary, and from there, to all your reservations. Enjoy!

Yes, we will be doing this next week. Staying at the WL, taking a boat to the Contemporary, and then the monorail to 'Ohana.

Maybe you could consider a split stay at BLT and the Villas at the Wilderness Lodge?

The boat is great if you stay at WL or VWL and want to get to the monorail resorts for dining. It comes and goes every 20 minutes or so. You just have to check on monorail times as they are dependent on the MK's hours. Really early or later ADR's can be slightly more complicated to get to.

In the morning, the boat runs directly from WL to the Contemporary. But it changes directions in the afternoon, so that it goes from the CR to the WL, and then on to Ft Wilderness before returning to the CR.

So if you want to go *to* the CR in the morning, and then *back from* the CR to WL in the afternoon/evening, the setup should work well for you.

(Unless, of course, there have been recent changes to the setup - it's been this way for quite a while, though.)
