WL this summer

Hi everyone! I saw someone, I think the name was bgt2005, talk about the WL this summer. I am going as well and finally got around to joning this forum. I am excited to talk with Disney lovers like myself. Like I said, someone posted asking about the best view for WL. I have a standard view and am hoping to request to best standard view possible. If you have any tips about WL let me know! I want this trip to be as fun as possible! Thanks.

We haven't been to WL yet (hope to in January) but wanted to say welcome. We're all excited about the Happiest Celebration and of course the mickey bars!

Cap'nJack, nice name by the way, WL standard view choices seem pretty limited. Either you look out towards the seven seas lagoon and the MK in the distance with a service area directly below you or you look out onto rooftops on the other side of the building.

Now, with the rooms facing the MK there's the chance of having a cool view out in the distance, but the service area directly below may be unattractive and noisy. On the other side of the building, overlooking the rooftops, noise isn't a problem, but there's no chance of a bonus view of the castle or whatever. Really seems like a toss-up to me.

Glad to hear from someone else psyched about the WL. Can't wait to take the tour and explore the resort.
