Just made ressie this am for anniversary and BD. Just wondering if the room with bunk beds have more waling space than the rooms with 2 queens? As you can tell this is our first stay here. We wanted to be close to MK since it wil be a short visit. Thanks for any help you can give me. :jester:

I was wondering that too!!! Thanks for asking...I was just about to post myself when I seen yours!!;)

We had a room w/bunkbeds at the WL, and I wish more resorts would offer this set-up! It was perfect for us! I have two boys who are now 12 and 13 and don't want to sit near each other, let alone sleep with each other.

Just wondering if the room with bunk beds have more waling space than the rooms with 2 queens?

I'm not sure what your concern is, more walking space, or more "wall space?"

The bunkbeds aren't as wide as the queen size bed, so it might make the room seem bigger. They do NOT have the bunkbeds right up against the wall however, and they look way too heavy to move there if you are worried about a child falling out of bed. The top bunk has guard rails, so that shouldn't be an issue.

Our room at the WL was an adequate size for our family of four.

I've stayed in both a bunkbed room and a 2 queen set up. The room with 2 queens seems roomier to me because there is more "air space"; visually the bunk beds take up a lot of room. Also the bunk beds are placed in the middle of the area that the second queen bed would be, so there isn't that much more space between the beds. So, I'd say there is a minimal amount of difference in walking space. That said, if you have kids, get the bunk beds....they just love them. -HM

I agree with the "air space" comment. Having 2 queens gives you an illusion of having more space because you don't feel as closed in. We have also had both types of rooms and on our last visit needed the bunks because we needed a crib for our 5th family member! There is more floor(walking) space.

Sorry about the typo. It was suppose to be walking space. DD is age 10 and she think that the bunk beds are way cool.

Yes there is more room. Here is what we did. We pushed the bunks over against the wall on the one side and it opens up about another foot or so which gave our kids more room to play with legos, etc.
