WL room type question. Can I downgrade?

I was just looking at our room-only reservation for WL next month and it appears we have been booked for a Courtyard View room. When I called and booked the reservation in June using the room-only discount promotion, I did not specify a room type we wanted. Looks like maybe the CM just assigned us a room with a Courtyard View? No harm, no foul, just wondering if that's maybe how that happened.

Also, if we wanted to downgrade to a Woods View or even lower to save a bit of money, can we do that at this point? I'm planning on calling WDWTC in the morning to find out, but wanted to check with my folks here on the boards first.

You can try, but they might not have had any lower categories available on the promotion. They only put a certain number of rooms on a promotional rate. I know that when I check for AP room only rates, there may only be one category open. But when I check for the same time period without the AP, there are more categories open - for a higher cost of course.
