WL Room Service/Gifts in Room

We'll be staying at the WL from Dec 17-21st celebrating the holidays but more importantly a birhday that will be occuring during our stay. I've planned this trip for my brother's birthday (17) and would like to have something special for him each day. I've seen quite a bit of discussion about zebra domes, tuxedo strawberries and such things available at other resorts but have no idea what might be available at the wilderness lodge. Anyone have any good ideas? Want to make sure this trip is absolutely special

That is very kind of you, I'm sure your brother will really appreciate it. I could give you some ideas but it could become fairly expensive . As for the chocolate covered strawberries, I think you can get those right from the WL, try room service or ask at the front desk. There is a Walt Disney World Florist that delivers flowers and gift baskets, the gift baskets have a Disney theme: http://www.disneyflorist.com/ffo_in...24856546565&index_id=fol_gourmet&price_range= they will deliver right to the room. You may hear your brother say he likes something in the park, you could go back and buy it and have it delivered to the room. You could do the same at the WL gift shop, maybe something that pertains to WL, so he has a momento from there. Instead of giving him something maybe one day pay for him to use the water mice or if you are going with the family you could go out on the Illuminations Cruise and decorate the boat and celebrate his birthday during Illuminations. We always use the Disney Florist - if you do not see what you want on their webpage - or want to modify a product on their webpage- just call them.
The Disney Florist has always created a magical gift for our kids when we arrive at WDW.

Tell them your brother's favorite character - they may have a container, mug or plush with the character. They may also have a key chain which can be added to a gift (age 17 - starting to near driving age).

Our gifts have always been delivered right to our room.
They do this at Deluxe resorts. Not sure about moderate & values.
I bet they can do it too.

If it's a food item that you're looking for, call the resort directly and ask them to connect you to private dining. They'll have all the information on what specialties they have available. I know they have birthday cakes and I'm sure they have some other things.
