WL room refurb??

Has anyone heard anything regarding room refurbishments this coming year?? Don’t want to be there when work is going on. Heading over in April and considering staying at WL. Tia!

Yes, I believe they are starting in the fall. Check out WL thread. Humphries posted about it. Personal opinion- I don’t think it will affect much. They close off section they’re working on.

Ditto . My wife & I have been to the WL twice per year, all THROUGH the construction of CCV. We have four construction pin sets .
NONE of this bothered us... Dear Wife, in fact, LOVED snooping at the construction . We WORKED to get "Construction View" .

Disney is VERY GOOD at insuring that work crews adhere to a daily time window. The likely situation? You will be in a PARK as all of this occurs .
To boot? I'm going to bet that there are some serious DISCOUNTS during this time frame - because everyone else will think "jackhammers at 6:30 AM" .

Will they be removing most of the theming from the rooms, as has happened with recent refurbs at other hotels?

The theming was my main reason for staying onsite. I'd be sad to see another of my favorites adopt the generic, un-themed look.
