WL Question

We just returned from our first stay at Wilderness Lodge and fell in love with it. We booked our return trip before we left. We were in awe of the lobby and have requested a room right on the lobby for our next visit.

So this is where the question comes in for you WL experts, do these rooms pick up a lot of the noise? I'm sure it can get pretty loud at the WCC. I don't worry about the evening noise because we never hit the bed before 11pm but what about in the morning when breakfast is getting started?

We have stayed in both sides of the lobby and the area above WC has a superior view. The higher the floor, the better the view of the MK fireworks. The room above the WC (4'th floor I think) was classified as a standard room while the rooms on the 5'th and 6'th were woodsview. You can hear the noise in the WC in the lower room but at dinner time the location of the room in the lobby IMHO always made up for a little bit of noise. Since I am always up @ 8 in the morning, I never noticed any noise in the morning

We just returned, too! We were at AKL from 3/30-4/2 and then at WL from 4/2-4/6. LOVE THAT LOBBY!!! We've already booked our next visit for September / courtyard room. LMK if you will be there then!

Rooms that over look Lobby:

15-Courtyard Views: Looks out over the Inner courtyard.

58- Wood View rooms-30 over WCC North side of Lodge; 18 over Check-In South side of the Lodge.

9 Standard View rooms on the 4th floor over Check-In South side of the Lodge

From reports I read the Standard View and Wood View room on the South side of the Lodge have reported noise coming from WCC. I have stayed in several Courtyard rooms off the Lobby and didn't hear any outside noise.
