WL pool slide - broken?

just read on the DVC board that the WL pool slide is broken - a pipe?
anyone know when it will be fixed?

From what I heard, it's going to be down indefinately, until it can be fixed.

Yep.....until they fix it. I wonder if the pool has to be drained to fix it?

did this just happen - we were there about 1 1/2 weeks ago and it was fine.

still broken we hopped on a boat to contemporary and used there slide 5 minutes trip there much bigger slide anyway....

What is Disney's policy for pol-hopping in the event of a broken pool slide? Are guests told to pool hop?

Not sure if they are told too but we asked since we booked there for the slide... my kids love to swim.. and we have disney passes so for us it is the slide that draws us.... have never tried WL so we choose that one .. when it wasnot working we called the fornt desk at WL and ask if we could go to the contemporary and use there slide they said sure.. and it was an easy trek just hopped oin the boat and was there in like 3 minutes... right to the dock...

To all with an upcoming trip to Wilderness Lodge: I just called the front desk at the lodge and per the CM I spoke with the slide has been repaired and is now working.
