WL pool - crowds ? size ?

Is the WL pool really too small for the resort ?
Is it smaller than the Contemporary main pool with the slide ?

Crowds ? best time to go 9 am ? before noon ?
Really bad at 1 pm ? or 2 pm
Do crowds build more towards 3 pm or before ?

Hi! We just got back from a VWL trip from July 3 to July 8, so very busy time. The pool was too crowded for me in the middle of the day and at night, but again this was probably the busiest week of the summer. The kids were not complaining- used the slide- kiddy pool - had a great time! I stuck to the quiet pool for swimming. I would say to swim before 10:00 am if you want the pool to yourself. The pools say they close at 12:00 am- to 8 or 9 am, but I'm not sure they ever closed. We were out swimming at 7:30 with no problems. I wouldn't let the smaller pool stop me from staying at this beautiful resort. Go and enjoy!!!
