WL Playground pics?

Hello,

I am wondering how the playground area at the WL is? We are going with our energy-filled 2-year old in August and will undoubtedly take full advantage of the playground! Does anyone happen to have any pictures to share?? I have searched through the FAQ threads and nothing Thanks!

Did you look on the DIS website under pictures? Also, you might try allears.net - they have a lot of pics of the resorts too.

I don't have a picture, but I can tell that it is located on the beach under a tree so it gets a fair amount of shade- at least it did in Feb. There are some tables and chairs around it for the adults to relax in. The play structure is metal and I think it has 2 slides on one end. One of them should be appropriate height for your 2 yr old to use comfortably. The other end has climbing surfaces ( an arched ladder and a screw, maybe a fire pole as well, not sure) that are more appropriate for older children to burn off energy. My kids used it a couple of times and it helped entertain the youngest and let him run around while we rested a bit from the parks. There is a lot of wildlife and nooks and crannies to explore outside the hotel as well for your little one to burn off energy. We found baby ducks freshly hatched! Have a great trip!
