These are the only hotels offered during my time in Aug. We are staying for 3 nights and are looking to do the parks some and relax to the pool. I was also looking at GF. What have your experiences been? Thanks

well WL gets some nice reviews on their concierge - haven't seem any on the YC.

I have not stayed at WL so I honestly can't comment about it, I do however love to visit there and eat at Artist Point. I'm returning in October though for my 7th CL visit to YC in the last 4 years. I just don't seem to be able to resist going back there. I've done split stays since my first visit there, but I always go back on every trip to YC at least for a few days. I've stayed at Poly and the Presidential Suite at AKL with split stays at YC. I still prefer YC. I love the location, the theming is relaxing to me and I really like the full balconies looking out over Crescent Lake. The staff has always been extremely helpful and friendly and it now feels like I'm returning home when I go back. I also like the decor even over the BC but of course the location and scenery around the BC is the same. I've read reviews where some people didn't like certain things but that's true about all of the resorts. It's simply a matter of someone's opinion and their likes and dislikes. I'm just a true YCFAN!

I stayed WL concierge last December and it was great. The staff was helpful with the pre-planning and always very nice and helpful while we were there. The lounge is nice and I enjoyed the refreshments offered, it was really nice to grab some Magic Cookie Bars and hot chocolate on the way back to the room after a long cold day. Plus we could just sit around and either look at the lobby or courtyard and just relax and soak in the atmosphere.

We stayed at YC concierge in August 2003 using the FTP. Loved those rates!

We didn't use the preplanning services, as we originally had planned to stay at OKW and switched about 2 weeks prior to the visit. Thoroughly enjoyed the staff and accommodations.

Won't look at a Krispy Kreme doughnut on a dare now, though! Got them out of my system during that visit! Good thing--they closed around here a year or so ago! :)

Have stayed several times (2006-2007) at the YC concierge and we really liked it. The staff was always wonderful and very attentive. Food offerings are varied and good. Drinks are also many and plentiful. The lounge is not huge but very quaint. It can get crowded if there are a lot of people staying concierge but it seems to be much quieter than BC. The turndown service and housekeeping were also great. No complaints.

We have not stayed WL concierge but have stayed at WL. I believe the lounge is similar to the AKL concierge in that it overlooks the lobby area which is very nice. You can do a search and see concierge pictures at both WL and YC. Keep in mind that the rooms at the YC are larger than those at the WL. That said, the rooms at the WL have just been renovated and are very nice. We found the most noticeable difference is the space in the bathroom is better at the YC than at the WL. But we really like both resorts.

The other consideration is where you will be spending a lot of time. YC is very centrally located for MGM and Epcot. WL is much better for MK. As you can tell we like both resorts. It just depends on what atmosphere/theme you prefer, etc.

I think you would be happy at both resorts. We sure have been ... having had stays at both YC and WL within the last 7 months.

I am interested in the Wilderness Lodge Concierge, also. We will be there in December.

I really enjoyed WL concierge this year. The staff was very friendly and as helpful as I would have expected. (look for Lisa!) I love the theming of the resort and since we like MK the best, being able to "boat" over to the park was lots of fun..
Never stayed YC so can't comment on that.
