WL OR GF

I currently have a 3 night resort revervation for wilderness lodge. I am going for my birthday in August and plan on spending time at the resort. Budget is not a problem. I have never stayed at WL or GF, but I have wanted to stay at GF since I was a child. Wondering if I should take advantage of my AP discount and splurge for GF? Don't want my expectations of GF to be let down! Thoughts?

Those are our top 2 favorite resorts.

That being said, I'd be concerned about the ongoing construction at WL, and would chose GF.

GF hands down! Just got back, it's beautiful and by far my favorite!!

Agree, GF without a doubt. I also had always wanted to stay at GF and last year we were able to make it happen for 4 nights. We loved it.

I would stay at GF for every trip, but for us, it's a bit above our budget comfort level.

We've stayed at both and love them both for different reasons. You really can't go wrong with either one, IMO. With that said, since you've always wanted to stay at the GF, I think that would be a great choice for your birthday .

Monorail accessibility is hard to pass up..plus watercraft to MK for a change up is fun...if it is a bucket list item for you to stay at GF then sounds like this is time to do it! It is a lovely resort!
